Province to announce support for NordSpace spaceport in St. Lawrence
The provincial government plans to announce investment supporting development of NordSpace’s Atlantic Spaceport Complex in St. Lawrence. The advisory gives no funding amount or construction details, but the project could be relevant to trades workers tracking future industrial work in the area.
The Honourable Lin Paddock, Minister of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development, will announce a Provincial Government investment supporting the development of NordSpace’s Atlantic Spaceport Complex in St. Lawrence, tomorrow (Thursday, August 27).
Minister Paddock will be joined by the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), and Rahul Goel, Founder and CEO of NordSpace Corporation.
The announcement will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Nordspace Canada Launch Site, Lighthouse Road, St. Lawrence.
