Impact is how much of the 100-point match score, or your profile strength, each one controls.
Keep your availability current
High impact · 18 pts
“Looking now” is worth the full 18 points; “not looking” caps your whole score at 30. Finishing a job? Set the date you're free. A date before the posting's start still scores full marks.
Add every ticket, with its expiry
High impact · 14 pts
Required tickets are a hard gate and 85% of the certification score. An expired ticket scores zero, and the breakdown says “expired” so you know to renew. We remind you 60 and 14 days out.
List 4+ skills with an honest level
High impact · 25 pts
Skills are the single biggest factor. Pick from your trade's list and mark each one: can help, can do on my own, can lead. Employers filter on the level.
Say where you'll work
High impact · 20 pts
Same community scores 20, same region 18, a region you've ticked 16, willing to travel or camp 11. Nothing ticked outside your home region means zero for every job elsewhere.
Add at least one past job
Medium · +8 strength
Experience level is scored from what you tell us, but employers open profiles that show a real site, a real employer and dates. One entry is enough to start.
Write, or generate, a two-line summary
Medium · +8 strength
Tap “write it for me” and the AI drafts a summary from your profile; edit it in your own words. It's the first thing an employer reads on your card.
Add a photo
Low · +2 strength
Not required and never used in scoring, but a real face on a card gets opened more. A job-site photo in your gear is perfect.
Respond fast
High impact · 48-hour window
The best trades workers are hired within 48 hours. When an employer messages or invites you, a same-day reply keeps you at the top of their pipeline.
Keep your profile active
Medium · sort order
Employers can sort by recent activity, and the default search puts recently-active profiles first. Opening the app, updating a date, or replying counts.
Get Fall Protection, WHMIS and First Aid
High impact · most-asked tickets
The three tickets employers ask for most (see the live numbers below). Fall Protection and First Aid are two-day courses from NLCSA-approved providers; WHMIS is a couple of hours online.
Scored for you
Once your profile is in, every job in your trade shows a 0–100 score and the factors behind it. Fix a gap and watch the number move.
Anonymous by default
Your name and number stay yours. Employers see your trade, tickets and experience until you approve them — so you can build the strongest profile in the province without your phone starting to ring. Even your resume has an anonymous version: same employers, dates and duties, no name and no contact details.
They see the work
Trade, experience, skills with levels, tickets with expiry, the regions you’ll work — under a code name like “Carpenter · 7F2A”.
They ask
One button, one short message. It lands in your notifications. Nothing is shared yet, and they can only ask once a week.
You choose
Four switches — name and photo, phone, email, full resume. Approve what you want, decline the rest.
You can undo it
Revoke access whenever you like and they go straight back to the code name.

Counted across the 104 jobs open right now, required or preferred. Updated continuously.
Percentages are the share of open jobs that list the ticket. Workers add theirs under Certifications; employers see the expiry date, not a claim.
