Carpenter Helper

Can-Am Platforms & Construction Ltd. is hiring 1–2 Carpenter Helpers for commercial and residential work in the St. John's area. You will support carpenters with material handling, site cleanup, tool care, and other general site tasks.

You will work with a local crew and need reliable local transportation to get to job sites. Off-hours work is required at times, with occasional travel within the eastern part of Newfoundland and Labrador.

What you'll do

• Help carpenters with materials, tools, and day-to-day site work
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow crew directions and site safety rules
• Communicate clearly with the crew and supervisor
• Be available for occasional off-hours work and travel in eastern Newfoundland and Labrador

What you need

• Reliable local transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work off-hours when required
• WHMIS 2015 and Fall Protection
• Ability to work safely as part of a construction crew

What we offer

• Estimated pay range of $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on a realistic NL construction labourer range; final pay to be confirmed by the employer
