Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices – Structural Concrete

Allied Construction Management is hiring carpenters, carpenter apprentices, and entry-level workers for structural concrete apartment-building work in St. John's. Work includes concrete formwork, forming, stripping, layout, material handling, and keeping the work area safe and organized.

You’ll work with a construction crew on active commercial residential projects in St. John's. This is a good fit for experienced journeypersons as well as people starting out who are ready to learn, show up, and work safely.

What you'll do

• Build, set, brace, and strip concrete forms
• Help with layout, measuring, material handling, and site cleanup
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Follow site safety rules and direction from the crew lead
• Work outdoors and around active concrete construction

What you need

• WHMIS 2015 and Fall Protection certification
• Ability to do physical construction work and work as part of a crew
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Carpenter experience or apprenticeship training is an asset; entry-level applicants are welcome

What we offer

• Pay of $20.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience, apprenticeship status, and qualifications
