Equinox Gold approved a $436 million expansion of the Valentine Gold Mine in August 2026, doubling throughput from 2.5 to 5.0 million tonnes a year. Construction started in the third quarter of 2026 with ramp-up in the second half of 2028. The camp is growing from 765 to about 1,165 beds, which is the clearest signal on this map of a real, funded crew call. The site is southwest of Millertown, deep in central Newfoundland, and the work is camp-based.
