Planned · Bishop's Falls
Fifteen kilometres of TCH twinning between Bishop's Falls and Grand Falls-Windsor, from 2026 onward.
What’s being built
Fifteen kilometres of the Trans-Canada Highway between Bishop's Falls and Grand Falls-Windsor is to be twinned. Like the Whitbourne stretch, it moved to traditional progressive contracts after the province cancelled the P3 procurement in January 2026, and it sits inside the same joint envelope of up to $306 million. Expect earthworks, blasting, aggregate, paving and bridge concrete spread over several seasons.
