What’s being built
Announced in July 2026, this is a $22 million redevelopment of the Paddon Home long-term care facility plus eight transitional beds at the Labrador Health Centre. Construction begins in 2026 with beds opening through 2027 and 2028. Redeveloping an operating care facility means abatement and interior demolition first, then framing, drywall, electrical, ventilation, plumbing and finishing — phased so the building stays in use.
